Holly Hancock-Dooly

RDH

Holly's journey in dentistry spans over three decades, starting as an oral surgeon's assistant and dental assistant before advancing her career by graduating cum laude from dental hygiene school in 1995. Since January 2008, she's been an integral part of Drs. Woodside and Sentz's practice, dedicating over 16 years to their office.
Known for her compassionate approach, Holly takes the time to understand and alleviate patients' dental anxieties while educating them on the connection between oral health and overall well-being. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two college-aged children, often exploring the natural beauty of Fauquier County through hiking and walking her dogs.

Jodi Mathews

RDH

Jodi was raised in Wausau, Wisconsin, so naturally she loves cheese. Her husband’s career brought them to Virginia. She graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with an Associates of Dental Hygiene in 2022 and has been a part of the Woodside, Sentz & Associates team ever since. Jodi is certified to administer nitrous oxide (laughing gas), local anesthetic injections and in soft tissue laser therapy.

As a child Jodi had a traumatic experience that left her never wanting to step into the dental office again. When her family moved to Wisconsin, Jodi’s parents found an awesome pediatric dentist, Dr. Tom who completely changed her perspective. She loved how welcoming the office and staff were. When Jodi was in high school she mentioned to her dentist that she may want to go into dentistry, he insisted that she needed to spend the summer as a sterilization technician for the hygienists.

Jodi then went to dental assisting school at the Ogden Weber Applied Technology College and worked as a dental assistant for five years. Jodi values the time she spent working alongside the doctors, but always felt drawn to go back to school for dental hygiene.

When she is not in the office Jodi enjoys spending time with her daughter and two dogs, Macie and Boomer.

Sherri graduated Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Western Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in dental hygiene, while also serving as class president.

In addition, she is certified to provide nitrous oxide and local anesthesia. Sherri prides herself on furthering her patient's knowledge about dental health and proper at-home care techniques. What she enjoys most about being a dental hygienist are the relationships built with her patients and a career that benefits others by helping them have healthy smiles.

In her time away from work Sherri enjoys every moment being a loving wife and mother to four beautiful children. Sherri enjoys her time at home on the farm with her 3 Bassett hounds and many other animals.
